Demand for luxury riverfront apartments is booming, with Pradella’s Waters Edge development at Waters Edge development at West End recording more than $10 million in sales this year.

Waters Edge comprises a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom apartment configurations.

Prices start from $549,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and $899,000 for a three-bedroom apartment.

Riverfront Collection apartments are priced from $1.625 million.
Waters Edge development manager, Brett Lentz said buyer confidence had well and truly returned since the 2011 floods and the appeal of riverfront living was stronger than ever.

“The riverfront market took a hit last year but the exceptional sales results and high level of enquiry we have had this year proves buyers are falling in love with the Brisbane River all over again,” he said.

The $260 million award-winning development consists of two eight-storey buildings, Drift and Reach.

Mr Lentz said the closure of Riverside Dr gave Waters Edge residents even greater connectivity with the Brisbane River.

“Most of Riverside Dr is now closed to vehicle traffic and the overall West End Riverside Parks masterplan being implemented by council will see the area transform into a riverside haven for families,” he said.

Mr Lentz said people looking for the perfect balance in apartment living were attracted to the resort-style configuration of Waters Edge with its 4000sq m of waterscaped grounds, including lagoon wading pools, outdoor kitchen, barbeque shelters and an infinity edge lap pool.

Waters Edge is the first stage of a $500 million redevelopment of the three-hectare West End site, which will provide a mixture of residential living, retail and commercial premises.
