Since construction commenced in mid 2015, Pradella is pleased to report that its latest West End development, Light & Co, has seen significant progress.

 

Located on Montague Road, the landmark site is Pradella’s thirteenth venture in the bustling suburb of West End. Previously home to the South Brisbane Gas & Light Company, Light & Co will feature two striking towers – Illuminate and Radiance – once completed in late 2016. *

 

October saw the completion of basement 2 beneath both buildings along with the erection of the second tower crane. Basement 1 was finished beneath Radiance, along with the pouring of the first apartment slabs on the ground floor and construction of the Beesley St entrance ramp.

 

During November, works on basement 1 beneath Illuminate concluded while the podium around Radiance was formed. This sets the foundation for the 4,500sqm green oasis which will feature landscaped gardens and 2 leisure pools.

 

More recently, the Radiance level 2 suspended slab was completed along with the podium and retail slabs in Illuminate with construction now progressing on the formwork for level 1.

 

Upon completion Illuminate will deliver 90 one, two and three bedroom apartments over five levels while Radiance will feature 138 apartments across 12 levels.
