A New Level of Luxury Unveiled – Courier Mail Home

KELVIN Grove’s newest address, Urban Edge, is offering potential buyers a sneak peak with the opening today of a luxury display apartment at the Pradella development.

Urban Edge will comprise three buildings, with the first two, six-level Vista and 12-level Horizons, due for completion in November 2012 and April 2013 respectively. The 206 apartments in stage one are a mixture of one, two and three bedrooms, priced from $349,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and $494,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.

The final stage will feature a 15-level building with 176 apartments with one, two and three-bedroom configurations. Located in the heart of the Kelvin Grove Village precinct two kilometres from the CBD, the new display will showcase the architecture and interior design of the apartments, inspired by parkland and city views.

The display apartment is part of the development’s first building, Vista, which comprise 73 apartments and is already 80 per cent sold.

Development manager Brett Lentz said the apartments reflected today’s lifestyle values with seamless indoor-outdoor living and innovative design. “Pradella had partnered with some of the finest creative forces in contemporary residential design to deliver a truly unique product fitting of this vibrant inner-city address,” Mr Lentz said.

“The apartment designs make clever use of light and air flow to maximise natural light, ventilation and breezes.”

The display apartment is a one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor with private street entrance and park views. “One of the exciting features of these apartments is their genuine flow-through layout,” Mr Lentz said. “You can have the front door and the courtyard door open to get a beautiful breeze through the apartment.”

Additional features include European appliances, stone benchtops, feature pendant lighting and a choice of colour schemes ranging from neutral tones to vibrant splashes of colour. The contemporary open-plan apartments are set in private landscaped gardens and pool areas.

“Urban Edge’s vividly distinctive architecture will not only enhance the streetscape and entire village precinct, it will create a truly unique residential address in Brisbane,” Mr Lentz said. The highest building in the thriving Kelvin Grove Village precinct, Urban Edge has recorded more than $50 million in sales since launching last year.
