Buyers drawn to life on the Edge
BRISBANE'S property market is picking up speed, with 28 apartments sold in the two months since the launch of Pradella's SkyView at Kelvin Grove.
SkyView is the third building in Pradella's successful Urban Edge development, which is within Kelvin Grove Village and has one, two and threebedroom apartments available from $330,000.
Development manager Brett Lentz said the high level of interest in the development was predominantly from Brisbane buyers eager to secure a quality property in the fast-growing inner-city neighbourhood.
Based on the success of the previous two stages of Urban Edge, we expected strong buyer interest, however the level of demand for SkyView has exceeded expectations, he said.
In a recent four-week period, $15m in sales were recorded. Offering sweeping views of Victoria Park golf course and the CBD, the 14-level luxury SkyView will be the landmark building on the Urban Edge site, perched at its highest point.
SkyView's success has built on the strong demand shown for the development's first two buildings.
Vista, the first one, has already sold out and the second building, Horizons, is now 75 per cent sold and tipped to sell out within months.
Urban Edge is just 2km from the city and this prime innercity location offers buyers every convenience, with shops, entertainment and transport all within the village, Mr Lentz said.
With QUT, RBH medical precinct, Victoria Park golf course, Suncorp Stadium and The Barracks at its doorstep, Urban Edge's popularity comes down to quality design and the array of work and lifestyle benefits only available in innercity locations.
We are thrilled with the success of the development to date and look forward to delivering the magnificent third and final stage to the community.
SkyView's design collaboration includes awardwinning architecture and interior design from Rothe Lowman White and landscape architecture from Lat. 27.
Design features include fullheight glazing, balconies, European appliances and a choice of three contemporary colour schemes.
Mr Lentz said Urban Edge had private landscaped gardens and pool areas, offering a unique balance of inner-city living and tranquil surrounds.
SkyView's 174 luxury openplan apartments offer buyers the last chance to secure a piece of this premium inner city residence, he said.
