Canvas luring buyers to South Brisbane

Pradella’s Canvas development at South Brisbane has continued to lure buyers with more than 70 per cent of apartments now sold across the iconic 16-level apartment building.

Now under construction, Canvas has attracted significant interest from investors and owner-occupiers.

Project manager, Brett Lentz, said the development’s sought after hilltop location had been a driving force behind the $50 million in sales achieved to date.

“Canvas is enviably situated within South Brisbane, offering residents sweeping views of the CBD, Mt Coot-tha and the Brisbane River and the very best this vibrant South Brisbane community has to offer,” he said.

“Alongside its location, the development’s appealing architectural design, quality finishes, and proximity to the South Bank cultural precinct, have ensured that demand for Canvas has remained strong.”

Mr Lentz said Canvas was Pradella’s ninth project in the South Brisbane and West End area in the last 12 years.

“Our continued investment in the area says a lot about our confidence in both the location and Brisbane’s inner-city apartment market,” he said.

“With Canvas, our focus was on providing an apartment development that delivered on lifestyle and quality, but was also competitively priced.”

Ongoing government infrastructure investment in South Brisbane has ensured the area’s connectivity, lifestyle attractions and educational facilities are world class.

“If you consider Canvas, it is situated in the heart of Queensland’s premier arts and entertainment precinct of QPAC, the Convention Centre, the State Library and South Bank and it is only a short walk to the city centre,” he said.

Mr Lentz said Canvas would transform South Brisbane’s skyline from its location at the top of Boundary Street, one of the area’s most elevated sites. All apartments will have generous balconies and living spaces, many with views to the city and surrounds.

Mr Lentz said people looking for the perfect balance in lifestyle and apartment living were attracted to Canvas with its Sky Garden on level 11 that included a recreational pool, garden with theatre and barbeque facilities.

When completed, Canvas will comprise 141 apartments, with a combination of stunning one and two bedroom apartment designs. Prices start from $346,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and $575,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.

The designer apartments feature pendant lighting, stone bench tops, feature timber veneer shelving and butler sinks, with a choice of three colour schemes.
