HIA Award wins for Urban Edge and Skyview
The award-winning Urban Edge development within Kelvin Grove has once again drawn praise at the HIA Queensland Housing and Design Awards.
Skyview, the third and final stage of the precinct, is acclaimed for its uninterrupted views of Brisbane city and architectural design in the heart of the Kelvin Grove Village.
Urban Edge was a landmark project by Queensland’s most innovative, long-standing and trusted developer Pradella Developments.
At the December awards ceremony Skyview took out the Best Apartment of the Year Award for Queensland.
Skyview, Urban Edge also won in the category for Queensland’s Best Apartment Complex of the Year.
Project Director Brett Lentz said that a combination of location, architectural ingenuity, great recreational spaces and flow-through layouts ensured the triumph of Urban Edge apartments.
“We only have a handful of apartments remaining as Kelvin Grove has been a highly sought after suburb,” he said.
“The precinct is located adjacent to Victoria Park Golf Course and features 4,300 square metres of recreational and landscaped space.
“It’s not only the exterior which has enticed buyers. Apartments enhance the indoor-outdoor lifestyle with a transition between the internal space and the external living zones.”
Urban Edge also recently won the Landscape Construction Excellence Award for its outstanding recreational facilities.
