Life Is One Big Canvas – The Courier Mail Home
Six months after its launch, Pradella’s Canvas development at South Brisbane is 60 per cent sold and construction has started on the 16-level apartment building.
With its hilltop location at South Brisbane, Canvas has attracted significant interest from both investors and owner-occupiers.
Canvas will comprise 141 apartments with one and two-bedroom designs. Prices start from $346,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and $585,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
Project manager Brett Lentz said the high level of demand was in response to the development’s appealing design, quality finishes and inner-city position.
“We are fortunate to have strong sales momentum for Canvas and we credit this to the development’s enviable South Brisbane location and its high-quality design,” he said.
“Add to this competitive pricing and you have a very desirable product for prospective buyers.”
Mr Lentz said Canvas would be Pradella’s ninth project in the South Brisbane and West End area during the past 12 years.
“South Brisbane continues to be heavily invested in by industry and all levels of government and now, more than ever, the area’s connectivity, lifestyle attractions, educational facilities and proximity to the city make it a very attractive area for ongoing investment,” he said.
“Canvas is in the heart of Queensland’s premier arts and entertainment precinct of QPAC, the convention centre, the State Library and South Bank and it is only a short walk to the city centre.”
Mr Lentz said Canvas would transform South Brisbane’s skyline from its location at the top of Boundary St.
“Canvas offers residents sweeping views of the CBD, Mt Coot-tha and the Brisbane River and all apartments have generous balconies,” he said.
The designer apartments feature pendant lighting, stone benchtops, timber veneer shelving and butler sinks, with a choice of three colour schemes. The attractive design of a sky garden on level 11 incorporates a pool, theatre and barbecue facilities.
