PRADELLA’S Water Edge development at West End, Brisbane, continues to welcome new residents, with sales of the riverfront development now exceeding $120 million.
Waters Edge has two award-winning eight-storey building, Drift and Reach, with one, two and three-bedroom apartment configuration. Prices start at $599,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and $859,000 for a three bedroom apartment, with Riverfront Collection residences from $1.499m.
Development manager Brett Lentz said Waters Edge appealed to buyers seeking a quiet location just a short walk from both the city and the hustle and bustle of West End’s café scene.
“Water’s Edge is on a quiet stretch of the Brisbane River, which gives residents great connections to location attraction via the riverside pathways,” Mr Lentz said. The closure of Riverside Dr gave Waters Edge residents even greater connectivity with the river.
“Most of Riverside Dr is now closed to vehicle traffic and the overall West End Riverside Parks masterplan being implemented by council will see the area transform into a riverside haven for families,” he said.
Mr Lentz said Waters Edge had attracted a diverse range of buyers, from young professionals through to families and empty nesters.
“We are seeing a growing level of interest in Waters Edge from families that see great value in living within the restricted Brisbane State High School catchment,” he said. “Families are starting to realise the many benefits of apartment living, and with Waters Edge they get close proximity to excellent schools, the entertainment hubs of South Bank and West End as well as the outdoor connectivity of the pathways and ferries.”
Mr Lentz said people seeking the prefect balance in lifestyles and apartment living were living were attracted to the resort-style configuration of Waters Edge, with 4000sq m of waterscaped grounds, including lagoon wading pools, an outdoor kitchen, barbecue shelters and infinity-edge lap pool. Waters Edge is the first stage of a $500m redevelopment of the three-hectare West End site, which will ultimately provide a mixture of residential living, retail and commercial premises.
