Sales Buoyant at Complex – Courier Mail Home
Urban Edge, the highest .building in the thriving Kelvin Grove Village precinct, has recorded more than $50 million in sales since launching last year, thanks largely to its uninterrupted panoramic views of Brisbane’s CBD, Victoria Park golf course and neighbouring parklands.
One-bedroom apartments are priced from $349,000, and the two-bedroom apartments from $494,000.
Buyers have been quick to snap up apartments at the Pradella development, two kilometres from the CBD, with the project’s first building, Vista, already 80 per cent sold.
Development manager Brett Lentz said the high level of interest in the development was coming from predominantly Brisbane buyers eager to secure a quality property in the booming Kelving Rove neighbourhood.
“Kelvin Grove represents an attractive proposition for both astute investors and owner occupiers, with strong transport connections and the lifestyle benefits only available in inner city locations,” he said.
Pradella has been thrilled to see Urban Edge record strong sales in a competitive property environment.
Mr Lentz said with its prime inner city location, Urban Edge offered buyers every lifestyle convenience with shops, entertainment and transport all within the development.
“Whether it’s theatre, a round of golf or a nice meal out, residents of Urban Edge only have to venture just beyond their front door to enjoy all the attributes of the village lifestyle,” he said.
Urban Edge will ultimately comprise three buildings. The first two buildings, Vista and Horizons, started construction in October 2011 and are due for completion in November 2012 and April 2013 respectively.
On completion, Vista and Horizons will deliver 206 apartments. The final stage, a 15-level building to be launched later this year, will deliver a further 176 apartments.
Urban Edge’s contemporary open-plan apartments are set in private landscaped gardens and pool areas.
Vista and Horizons offer a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
