Second Stage on Track – Courier Mail Home

The second stage of Pradella’s luxury West End riverfront development Waters Edge is on track for completion in the middle of the year.

Drift is the second of the two low-rise buildings in the development, with residents moving into its sister building Reach in December.

“Drift is the final stage of Waters Edge and on completion it will provide further 112 luxury apartments, to add to the 122 apartments delivered in stage one,” Mr Lentz said.

Reach and Drift are both eight-storey towers and three-bedroom configurations priced from $499,000.

Waters Edge is one of three developments planned for Pradella’s three-hectare site in West End and Mr Lentz said both buildings were attracting a lot of interest from investors and owner occupiers.

“Despite Brisbane’s turbulent start to 2011 the vibrant location and high quality apartments at Waters Edge continue to appeal buyers seeking an inner-city lifestyle’” he said.

Mr Lentz said the luxury apartments were nestled in 4000sq m of waterscaped grounds, connecting the development to the landscape of the Brisbane River.

“Lagoon wading pools, outdoor kitchens and barbecue shelters, quiet contemplation spaces and an infinity-edge lap pool provided the perfect opportunity for residents to relax, enjoy the outdoors and entertain friends,” he said.

Located within the popular West End precinct, Waters Edge is an easy stroll to cafes, shops and South Bank cultural precinct.

“There is no doubt that as it continues to evolve, the eclectic character, city-fringe location and prized riverfront landscape for which West End is famous, remain a significant draw card to buyers,” Mr Lentz said.
