West End Markets at Davies Park

The iconic Davies Park Markets are held every Saturday morning and are located just 1km from The Lanes, making fresh fruit and produce, unique wares and a lively vibe just a walk away for future residents. The markets host 150 unique vendors bringing farm-fresh produce, delicious healthy fast food, boutique fashion and handcrafted gifts to its guests from 6am to 2pm. Experience the fun and friendliness underneath a canopy of glorious Moreton Bay Figs this Saturday!

Open Mic Night at the Archive Beer Boutique

Brisbane musicians can head to the Archive Beer Boutique every Monday to show off your skills and rock out at the open mic night. The crew on site supply the guitar, you just need to go along and get jamming, sing your heart out, or just enjoy a cold one. The fun starts at 7pm.

Timpir African Dinner Brisbane at Mu’ooz Eritrean Restaurant

Come along for an evening of delicious African food at Mu’ooz Eritrean Restaurant and Cage to support two schools in South Sudan which need funding following Covid-19 and flood damage. The community are trying to rebuild the classrooms but, in the meantime, classes continue under the trees. Funds raised from the dinner will assist in rebuilding and buying much needed school supplies and more. The evening starts from 6.30pm.

Bespoke Ballet at Talbot Theatre

Compelling, challenging and always thought-provoking, Bespoke returns for a sixth season by leading Australian choreographers Paul Boyd, Natalie Weir and Remi Wörtmeyer. On at the Talbot Theatre, this celebration of collaboration and original creativity offers audiences the chance to explore the vibrant world of contemporary dance in an intimate environment inside the recently redeveloped Thomas Dixon Centre.

 

West End offers abundant things to do, see and explore, with bars and restaurants aplenty, markets and unique stores dotting the streets and the excitement of South Bank and the city only moments away.
